Volunteer

​FOSTER COORDINATOR: We are looking for foster coordinators with experience in the veterinary field that can help assist fosters in their needs for their foster animals. This includes written, and or phone communication, tracking vetting, maintaining supplies, keeping updated animal information, assisting with the adoption process, and answering questions. This can all be done right from home! 

HEALING HAVEN DOG CREW:We are looking for dog savvy volunteers that can assist with the dogs residing at our Healing Haven property in Zimmerman, MN.  This would include continuing training that has already been outlined for each individual animal, exercise & enrichment, as well as basic cleaning of the facility & animal areas.  Volunteers must be over 18 years of age, be willing to shadow our Outreach Program Director/Caretaker prior to graduating to volunteering alone, be willing/able to safely handle dogs with behavioral hurdles, have their own transportation & be able to commit to one 2 hour shift per week (flexible based on your availability).  Interested candidates should fill out our volunteer application. 

HEALING HAVEN CAT CREW:We are looking for cat savvy volunteers that can assist with the cats residing at our Healing Haven property in Zimmerman, MN.  This would include enrichment, as well as basic cleaning of the facility & animal areas.  Volunteers must be over 18 years of age, be willing to shadow our Outreach Program Director/Caretaker prior to graduating to volunteering alone, be willing/able to safely handle cats as well as being comfortable around semi-feral / under-socialized cats, have their own transportation & be able to commit to one 2 hour shift per week (flexible based on your availability).  Interested candidates should fill out our volunteer application.

​VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:We are looking for a volunteer coordinator that can help recruit volunteers for events, home visits, transports, vet appointments, and also to help keep volunteers motivated and involved. We are looking for someone who is efficient in using Gmail/Google drive is possible, Facebook, internet/computer savvy, organized, self starter, reliable, and able to jump in and help where needed.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE MEMBERS:Works with fundraising coordinator in coordinating all fundraising events and also hosting their fundraisers and reaching out to raise funds for the rescue. ​​

​VOLUNTEER ANIMAL TRANSPORTERS: Volunteer animal transporters bring animals to/from vet appointments, home visits, adoption events on the weekends, special events that we have coming up where animals are allowed, from transports to their new foster home, etc. ​

Fur-Ever Home Rescue is a Minnesota based rescue. We rely on our dedicated team of animal loving volunteers to be able to do what we do best, save the ones that need us the most.
